Who we are
This website is operated by Bobolar Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland (registration number 826254), trading as MaterialsEngineering. Registered office: 141 Lissadyra, Tuam, Co. Galway, H54 W956.
For anything about your personal data, write to info@materialsengineering.ie. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send an enquiry we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to deal with the enquiry. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before any engagement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The form is delivered as an ordinary email to our mailbox. We keep the enquiry for 12 months after the last contact, unless it leads to an engagement, in which case the records are kept for the period the engagement requires.
Server logs. Our hosting server keeps standard technical logs, which can include your IP address, to keep the site running and to investigate attacks and faults. They are kept for a short period.
Error reports. If error reporting is enabled on the server, a fault is reported with the request method, the page path and an error identifier. Form contents, cookies and email addresses are not included, and IP addresses are not attached by default.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. The fonts are served from this site. For that reason there is no cookie banner.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your data. It is processed only by the providers we need to run the site and the mailbox: the hosting provider of our server and the email provider of our domain. If any of them process data outside the European Economic Area, they do so under the safeguards required by the GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your personal data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. We do not make decisions about you by automated means.
To exercise these rights, write to info@materialsengineering.ie. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.
